Sean Fraser’s parliamentary secretary announced roughly $1.5 million in support to help newcomers work in the Canadian health sector more quickly.
The funding will be used to improve healthcare collaboration and information sharing. To assist globally educated health care workers in having their credentials recognized more quickly.
The project relies on the success of the National Newcomer Navigation Network (N4), a web-based network for international healthcare professionals interested in working in Canada. The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario’s (CHEO) N4 was launched in 2019.
