Breaking News | 📢 Important Update for Canada Business Immigration 🚀
As of April 30, 2024, the Canadian government will implement crucial changes to the Business Immigration programs, including the Start-Up Visa (SUV). These changes aim to streamline the application process and reduce wait times, ensuring a smoother transition for innovative entrepreneurs into Canada’s thriving economy.
For the SUV immigration program, to encourage venture capital firms, angel investors, and incubators to support the most valuable projects, the following changes have been made:
1. Each designated organization will only accept applications for 10 startup projects per year
2. The focus will be on entrepreneurs who receive support from Canadian capital and Tech Network member incubators
For the self-employed immigration program, IRCC will completely suspend the application for the project.
Overall, these changes are an earthquake for Canadian immigration. It’s limited the quotas of SUV applications and increased the difficulty of immigrating to Canada by SUV nowadays.
