Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) are in full swing as three Canadian provinces make their nominations this week, Jun 17-22. Let’s dive into the highlights:
Ontario 🍁
* 1,000 candidates received invitations through three draws under the Employer Job Offer stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
* Draw 1: 426 candidates with skilled trades experience received invites with scores of 36 and above.
* Draw 2: 318 foreign workers in healthcare occupations were invited with a minimum score of 33.
* Draw 3: 256 candidates received invites in a general draw through the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream, requiring a minimum score of 26.
British Columbia 🌊
* Four targeted draws took place for Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams of the BC PNP, including Express Entry candidates.
* A total of 144 candidates received invitations.
* The largest draw targeted 107 candidates with tech occupations, requiring a minimum score of 90.
* Other draws included early childhood educators, healthcare occupations, and priority occupations with minimum scores of 60.
New Brunswick 🌲
* May saw New Brunswick invite 93 Express Entry candidates in various streams.
* Nominations were distributed across NB Employment Connection, NB Student Connection, and Occupations in Demand Connection.
* To date, New Brunswick has nominated 509 provincial Express Entry candidates in 2023, with March being the busiest month.
