On May 28, 2020, the Canadian Express Entry immigration program held another round of invitations for those in the Canadian Experience Class. In this round, the minimum CRS cut-off score was only 440 with 3515 individuals invited.
During COVID19, many rounds of invitations have been held for those in the CEC, with significantly lowered CRS scores. The Altec team saw that this was a great opportunity for our client to get an invitation within this pool of candidates!
Background information: The client has an undergraduate degree from a prestigious Canadian university and has been working in Canada for over a year.
Before the epidemic, the EE CRS cut-off scores were very high. In desperation, the client could only hope to retake his IELTS and score higher for a higher CRS score. Fortunately, during this round of invitations, the client scored just high enough to receive an ITA. The client was surprised and overjoyed! The Altec team turned this ‘crisis’ into a ‘golden opportunity’!
