Susan has been honoured with several awards, including the Chinese Woman Pioneer Award and the Award from the Society of Management Accountants. Susan was nominated for the 2012 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards. She was also awarded the Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2022, and the Dame of the Order of St. George (DStG) in 2025. She is frequently called upon to appear in the media to discuss Canadian immigration issues.
