The total number of PGWP holders in Canada has increased every year, according to a survey of PGWP holders by yearly graduation cohort. The study found that 29% of graduates from the class of 2008 still had a PGWP after five years. With the graduating class of 2009, that figure increased by an additional 5%, and it has since risen consistently. Five years after graduating, 52% of the class of 2013’s graduates have earned a PGWP.
