This week, the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw results were made public by Ontario and British Columbia.
Only 400 immigrants were accepted when the PNP was first established in 1998. However, it was incredibly effective, and as a result, Canada today accepts more than 80,000 immigrants annually through PNPs.
The surge in PNP admissions in Canada is attributable to the fact that the federal and provincial governments see it as a useful tool for advancing the nation’s economic development.
