The government stated in early February of this year that it would be spending an additional almost $200 billion on healthcare in Canada over the following ten years. This comprises $46.2 billion in financing for the provinces and territories, as well as extra Canada Health Transfer policies that are tailored to the special requirements of each province through bilateral agreements.
