On April 26, the federal government of Canada unveiled its Action Plan for Official Languages 2023–2028 in Ottawa.
In addition to the $2.7 billion in the previous Action Plan, the new Action Plan contains $1.4 billion over five years. almost the course of five years, this comes to almost $4.1 billion. It is the biggest sum of money a government has ever given to sustain official languages.
