The firm’s Founder and CEO, Susan Gong, leads the Altec’s Ace team with over 33 years experience in providing a complete range of Canadian Immigration services to individuals and their families.

Susan brings her experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant and business owner, as well as a former Member of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada to work with clients and business partners alike.

Susan Gong

Founder, CEO & President of Altec Global Inc., Former Canadian Immigration Judge, Former Member of the Immigration and Refugee Board, Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), Honours B. B.A.

Susan Gong, a former Member of the Immigration and Refugee Board, is the Founder and CEO of Altec Global Inc. She holds an Honours B.B.A. from Wilfred Laurier University and a CPA,CA designation which qualified her for her previous role at the Metro Toronto Housing Authority. She is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant.

It is Susan’s work on the Immigration and Refugee Board that led to the creation of Altec Global Inc. She dealt with a wide range of issues and understands the strategies that must be employed to win a successful case. Fluent in English and Mandarin, she is able to communicate with many of her clients in their native tongue, which offers them a important degree of comfort—a key factor when dealing with sensitive and often personal issues.

Mr. Metcalfe has worked for 24 years in the departments of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. With his experience as a Visa Officer, Canadian Consul, and as an independent consultant, he has assisted thousands of people to immigrate and live, work, and study in Canada. His work has required extensive travel throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Mr. Metcalfe’s knowledge of immigration law and procedures has resulted in a clear expertise to analyze issues and resolve complex problems quickly. He is and will continue to be a great asset to Altec Global Inc in the future.

Mandy Chen

Graduated as a Chinese practicing lawyer after passing the National Judicial Examination in 2009, Mandy has been a core member of Altec Global Inc. for many years. As a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and a Notary Public in Ontario, she plays a vital role in managing complex case matters within the firm. With additional certifications from the Securities Association of China, Mandy brings strong legal insight and professionalism to every file. Being proficient in both English and Mandarin, her work is focused on supporting clients, communicating with government bodies, and guiding individuals and families through their immigration processes.

Graduated from two postgraduate programs in Marketing Management and Project Management, Irene has been a member of Altec Global Inc since 2024. She works closely with everyone at Altec Global Inc, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the firm. Being multilingual in English, Mandarin, and Spanish, her work is focused on communicating, handling, and acting as a bridge between Altec Global Inc and clients and communities worldwide.

Melissa brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the immigration industry. She is multilingual in English and Mandarin, and her work is primarily focused on communicating with and maintaining the loyalty of our clients in BC.

Selina is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and Education Specialist at Altec Global Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law and began her career supporting clients in academic and immigration planning. With a strong foundation in legal training and international education pathways, she provides clear, detailed guidance to students and families preparing to study or settle in Canada. Selina is proficient in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, enabling her to support a diverse client community with professionalism and cultural understanding.

Shelley is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) with advanced training in immigration and refugee matters. She holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester. With a strong academic background and extensive experience supporting clients through complex immigration pathways, Shelley provides strategic, detail-oriented guidance to individuals and families navigating the Canadian immigration system. She is proficient in both English and Mandarin, allowing her to assist a diverse range of clients with clarity and professionalism.

A member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), John brings more than 35 years of immigration expertise to Altec Global Inc. Having served 29 years in the federal public service, he offers deep insight into Canadian immigration processes and policy. John is frequently invited to advise industry professionals, speak to community organizations, and lead seminars in his areas of specialization. His work focuses on guiding clients through Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications, intra-company transfers, and employer-sponsored work permit solutions with clarity and professionalism.

Si is in charge of High-end customer resource maintenance and business development for Altec Global Inc with extensive business and corporate development experience in the North American Market, including real estate development, hotel operations, international education and immigration business consulting. He specializes in cross-border financial investment, wealth planning, and private asset management, maintaining long-term collaboration with banks and other professional investment institutions in Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and other provinces. He has provided multinational business consulting services throughout China, Southeast Asia and Russia for more than 20 years and established extensive resources with Politicians, Medias and Business investment conglomerate.

Atousa is a Chartered Accountant from Canada. She has started her career in assurance services in Dubai. She holds a bachelor degree and masters degree in professional accounting. She is proficient in English and Farsi.

With 20 years of experience in real estate property management, Arthur Pan is a registered manager of the Canadian Real Estate Association. He can provide clients with consultation on property investment management and non-resident investment tax filing services in Ontario.

Si Yuan Ren graduated from George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, as well as KING’S COLLEGE, London, UK. He is proficient in Mandarin and English.
