Bank of Canada holds interest rates steady: Why that’s good for newcomers

The Bank of Canada (BoC) declared on April 12 that interest rates will remain at 4.5%.

Since January of this year, interest rates have remained at 4.5% after being raised many times in the second half of 2022.
