The Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills in British Columbia recently introduced new measures aimed at enhancing the integrity of the province’s international student programs. 
According to a press release from the Ministry, new protective measures and higher standards are being introduced for the province’s designated learning institutions. One of these protective measures is the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) Code of Conduct. 
The EQA has three main objectives. Firstly, designated learning institutions (DLIs) in British Columbia will aim to “limit the enrollment of international students to within 30% of the institution’s total enrollment.”
