Canada to end vaccine mandates for domestic travellers, transportation workers

Vaccination mandates for domestic and international travel, federally controlled transportation sectors, and federal government employees will be suspended beginning June 20.
The suspension of vaccine mandates, according to Canadian government officials, shows a better public health situation in the country. COVID-19 has been vaccinated against by nearly 90% of Canadians, and the number of cases has dropped.
Coronavirus continues to circulate over the world, and the risks of infection differ by jurisdiction, thus existing vaccination requirements remain in place at the border. Quarantine and testing requirements for Canadians who have not been completely vaccinated are among these criteria.
